The handle branch also needs abrasive pastes and emulsions able to be used with manual, mechanical or robotized processing done in an industrial level. After having been grinded and sieved, the handles are subjected to the polishing and buffing processes carried out only and always with a mechanical procedure which includes the use of abrasive compounds combined with technical discs made of plissé and/or quilted cotton. The classic brown compounds made of Tripoli are extremely recommended for this branch where the main metal used for the manufacturing is brass.
